Numbers, mostly

9 - This is how many months have passed since I last posted on my blog.

196 - This is how many weeks I have lived in Bucheon, South Korea.

47 - This is how many kindergarteners I have taught since arriving.

3 - This is how many Korean flats I have lived in.

0 - This is how many minutes I have spent regretting my decision to move to Korea.

0 - This is how many boys I have kissed in Korea.

68 - This is how many blog posts I've written (counting this one).

7 - This is how many times I've flown across the Pacific ocean since moving abroad.

7 - This is how many visits I've had from family.

10 - This is how many fingers I have.

3 - This is how many novels I've started writing in Korea.

1 - This is how many I finished (in rough draft form).

8 - This is how many hairstyles I went through in Korea.

17 - This is how many pounds I lost in Korea.

20 - This is how many pounds I gained back.

31 - This is how old I am by Korean reckoning.

30 - This is how old I am as the Americans count.

13 - This is how many cities I've lived in during those 30-31 years.

26 - This is how many times I've moved between those 13 cities (that I remember).

196 - This is the largest number of consecutive weeks I've ever lived in one city.

83 - This is how many days are left before I find a new pillow, and a place to keep it.

28 - This is the number of words left before the end of this blog post (counting these ones).

? - This is the number of months left before I post again.

Does this mean you decided where you are going to grad school?

I still have a few feelers out on Grad school. I'll be spending the next year living in North Carolina working and doing some undergrad classes online.
